There seems to be a number of issues with logging into the online book. I have said over and over again in the classroom that you need to turn off the pop-up blocker. Below, I have embedded the directions for accessing the activities. Again, YOU MUST TURN OFF THE POP-UP BLOCKER!
The problem with getting to the assignment is that the pop-up blocker has not been disabled. Here are the steps students should take:
1. Logon to Realidades Online at www.successnetplus.com
2. click on the "to do" tab
3. Disable the pop-up blocker (upper right hand corner)...right click and then select "always allow on this site."
4. Select the assignment and click on start (Now this is where it gets confusing.)
5. When the start button is clicked, the activity will be opened in another window, but the student will see the words "I'm done" BEFORE they actually do the activity. This is not saying that they are actually done. After completing the activity, the student will then return to their original window (the "to do" list) and click on "I'm done." This indicates that they have completed the assignment.
6. If the activity is not seen, the student can go to the "Done" list and access the activity.
The most important thing to do to eliminate the confusion is to turn off the pop-up blocker and to know that the I'm done MUST be clicked by the student when they are actually done.

Access to the Online Text Book
At this time, each Spanish Level I student has access to their online textbook. If you do not, please contact me immediately via email. Follow the directions below to begin reviewing your text book. We will have a class set of textbooks and those who do not have access to the internet will receive a hard copy of the book.

- Click on the Student Login button.
- Students from last year...your login information has not changed.
- Username: first name.last name (example: joe.smith). If you have two last names, enter them both without the hyphen. If you have a common name, you may have to enter 1 or 10 at the end of your name (ex. joe.smith1 OR joe.smith10)

- 7th graders can begin to preview the first five chapters of the book. We will complete chapters "Para Empezar" through chapter 4.
- 8th graders (and the 7th graders in the 8th grade class) should review the first chapters through chapter 3. We will begin with chapter 4 and complete the textbook.
Spanish Level 2
Several 8th grade students will see an additional textbook when they login. This book is for Level 2. Though we may not use it this year, I wanted to make sure you had access to it in the event we completed Chapter 9 of Level 1 earlier than anticipated (and that is a real possibility).
